Authentic Redemptive Community

Authentic.

This means we want you to be real.  With yourself, with each other, and most importantly, with God.  We want you to be honest about your bad test days, your good hair days, your struggles, your longings, and even your deepest disappointments.  We don’t think there’s any merit in trying to be someone you’re not.
Philippians 3:17

Redemptive.

We happen to think that this world is a pretty messed up place.  [God thinks so too.]  Each one of us, at some point, has deliberately decided to step outside of God’s divine plan.  As sinful beings, we are inherently unable to experience communion with God the Father.  We believe that the only way to restore that relationship with our Creator is through Jesus Christ.  He came to earth, showed us how to live, was crucified, and rose again in order that we might have a redeemed relationship with the Father.
John 3:16

Community.

God did not create us to do life alone.  We want small groups to be a place where you can investigate your faith and be open about what you find.  As your small group studies God’s Word, we hope you will apply His truth to your life and encourage your friends to do the same.  We believe that God wants us to learn to love and be loved, to serve and be served.  Together we want to tackle questions of belief, lifestyle, and relationships.  And it doesn’t hurt to have someone give you advice on how to defrizz your hair and where to buy used textbooks along the way.
Hebrews 10:24-25
